Use case

Property managers

Send the property paperwork you already use, have each party fill in their part and sign on any device, and keep the completed copy filed against the contact.

Property management runs on documents that several people fill in and sign: owners, tenants, applicants and your own team. Getting them back complete, from people who are rarely in the office, is most of the work.

How EasySign helps

  • Your own forms. Upload the PDFs you already use and place the fields, marking each one as yours to fill or the signer's.
  • Each person does their part. The signer follows the Next button to every field they need to complete, initials each page and signs last.
  • Checks before signing. A one-time email code, and an optional access code for documents that need more care.
  • A complete record. Everyone gets the completed PDF with a certificate of completion listing each signer's name, email, IP address and time.
  • Your name on the link. Signing links can come from your own domain, such as sign.yourcompany.co.nz. See custom domains.

Check the rules for each document

Some property documents have their own requirements for form, witnessing or registration, and some cannot be signed electronically at all. The legal basis page sets out the general law in New Zealand and Australia; check the specific rules for your documents, or ask your lawyer.
